Streams of Life Churches

Spreading the Good News of Christ

Streams of Life Churches had its first church planted in 1990 in Kiwanga, Uganda founded on Christ. Since then, the fellowship has grown to 22 church plants all throughout Uganda, sharing Christ in the rural and the urban areas.

We are committed to sharing the full message of salvation but also ensuring that every community we serve is fully supported and uplifted. Our vision is to see every individual experience wholeness and freedom in Christ, addressing both spiritual, physical, and educational needs to create a empowered community full of life. By embodying Christ’s love and compassion, we aim to make a an impact on the whole man, fostering transformation that heals the whole person and brings about lasting change.

We Build & Support

We’ve built water wells in towns and communities across central Uganda, inspired by the story of Jesus ministering to the Samaritan woman at the well in John 4. Just as Jesus offered living water, we make clean water more accessible, so that families no longer go 8+ mile journeys with jerrycans in search of water. Wells not only alleviates daily hardships but also strengthens bonds with local communities.

And we distribute both food for the soul and body.

We Pray

At Streams of Life prayer is central to our spiritual life, reflecting the commitment of the early church in the Book of Acts.

We embrace the call to “pray without ceasing” (1 Thessalonians 5:17) and follow the guidance of Philippians 4:6, which urges us, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” We pray throughout the week and every Friday night, we gather for an overnight community prayer, interceding for one another and seeking God’s guidance and intervention. And God has been faithful as we’ve seen the transformative power of prayer to address our needs.

We Walk With Each Other

Fellowship is at the heart of our church. We believe that true fellowship means sharing in each other’s joys, burdens, and spiritual journeys. Our pastors actively engage with the church family, providing counseling and support to those in need, ensuring that everyone receives personal care and guidance. By coming together in worship, study, and service, we grow with one another.
