Minnesota to Kayunga: Kelvin and Jake Make a Lasting Impact on Jesus Schools with Heartfelt Messages of Faith

This May, a remarkable journey unfolded as Kelvin and Jake, two recent graduates from Minnesota, America made their way to Lion of Judah Schools in Kayunga, Uganda. Their time there was a noteworthy experience as the two young men, both armed with degrees in theology and pastoral studies, stepped onto the campus eager to share their faith and give glory to God.

Kelvin and Jake engaged with both elementary and high school students, bringing messages that were as spiritually nourishing. Jake delivered a heartfelt sermon drawn from his personal testimony, illustrating the transformative power of Christ in his life. His words served as a powerful reminder of Christ’s ability to bring hope and life in the midst of trouble.

The impact of their visit extended beyond the confines of the school’s walls, even ministering at the local churches. Kelvin and Jake most definitely left a lasting impression on everyone they met in their time in Kayunga.  As we look back on this enriching experience, we are filled with anticipation for the future and the possibility of welcoming them back.

The visit underscored a profound truth: that despite the geographical distance between Minnesota and Kayunga, we are all part of the same Kingdom of God. After all people of every tongue, tribe, nation and people group will declare “Salvation belongs to our God.”
